Chef Dave, the Owner/Creator of Doughnut Evolution began his culinary journey as a pastry cook at Atlantic City's Central by Michel Richard Restaurant in the Revel Hotel. Dave has worked in numerous other food service roles including bread baker, cake decorator, pastry chef, and food truck operator.
Doughnut Evolution was created to bring Dave's sweet visions to life. All menu items are inspired by Dave's fond childhood food memories and his love for creating desserts. Dave's creations are always served hot & fresh right out of the fryer in decadent flavors such as Nutty Nutella, Holy Cannoli, Strawberry Shorty, Chocolate Peanut Butter and of course, our signature doughnut - the S'mores.
We serve scratch made, yeast-raised, brioche style doughnuts that are crispy on the outside & soft and fluffy on the inside. Our doughnuts are made using only premium ingredients such as Walkers shortbread cookies, Reese's peanut butter cups, Ghirardelli chocolate sauce, Ferrero Rocher candy, fresh fruits and more. From the very first bite of these massive treats, you are transported back to your childhood. Desserts you loved as a kid are back, and they are now even better than you remembered!
You can find the Doughnut Evolution family (Dave, Maria, Erin, and Joy) at food truck events throughout the New Jersey area and we are available for private events such as weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and more. We look forward to serving you soon.
